Antique French Rose & Yellow Gold Plated Square Brooch

Beautiful ornate antique French square brooch from the 19th century. The open work border is rose gold with a first yellow gold exquisitely detailed inside layer and a third rose gold center layer set with a clear rhinestone. The center rhinestone has been replaced. 

Its closure is a typical Victorian C clasp.

Those small gold plated brooches were very popular in France in the 19th century.

It is in good antique condition with some slight signs of age.

A very unique piece for an antique lover or collector. A perfect "something old" for a wedding.
